Here on the farm we are going pumpkin mad during the October half term holiday! This year for the first time we will be having a pumpkin patch*…explore the patch and have fun picking your own pumpkin, you may even catch a glimpse of Winnie the witch! There will be Halloween face painting* with Beauty or the Beast Face Painting on Monday 21st, Wednesday 23rd, Friday 25th and Sunday 27th October plus Winnie the witches spell hunt every day from 21st October onwards.  Take a tractor ride on our Halloween themed trailer to feed the cattle plus all of our other usual indoor and outdoor activities. After all that fun tuck into some tasty Halloween treats in our tearoom

We really can’t believe it,we are so overwhelmed to have been named Midlands Best Rural Tourism Business and Midlands Best Diversification project at the Rural Business Awards and then Select Lincolnshire Tearoom Of The Year at the Select Lincolnshire Awards. As a small family run business these awards mean the world to us and we would like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal and hard working team and all of our customers for their support over the years.

 

 

Be sure to visit us this Summer holiday no matter what the weather! Explore the woodland walk and find the ‘Pingles hidden’ in the wood or run off steam on our outdoor play areas or in our huge indoor play barn.  Meet our new baby goats Spot, Dot and Lucky and take one of their friends for a walk (daily, around 2 pm.) Feed the cows on the tractor ride and say hello to all our other friendly animals. Beauty or the Beast Face Painting will also be joining us on 6th August, 13th August, 20th August, 25th August  and 27th August. Anita will be offering face painting and glitter tattoos, we are excited to see her great designs! (small extra charge applies).

After all that fun sit and take a rest in our Select Lincolnshire award winning tearoom and enjoy home made and local produce.

It is with great sadness that we let all our regular visitors know about the sudden passing of our dear friend and colleague Tom. Tom has worked and been a huge part of Hall Farm Park for the last 10 years and will be greatly missed by us all.

As a matter of respect and to allow staff to attend his funeral the farm park will be closed on Wednesday 24th July. We apologise for any inconvenience caused but we trust that you will understand and respect our reason for closing on this very sad day.

We will be open everyday 10 am – 5 pm for the rest of the Lincolnshire School holidays.

We are really excited to share the news that we have been shortlisted in the Rural Business Awards, Select Lincolnshire awards and the Lincolnshire Business awards, we can hardly believe it!!  At the Rural Business Awards to be held in Nottingham we have been shortlisted for Midlands Best Rural Tourism Business and Midlands Best Rural Diversification Project. At the Select Lincolnshire awards we have again been nominated this year for Tearoom of the year. To prove things really do come in threes we then received the news that we had been shortlisted for Best Food and Farming Business at the Lincolnshire Business awards.  We are very much looking forward to attending the awards ceremonies and are extremely proud of our achievements.

 

Due to the ongoing Anglian Water works in the area, Station Road (B1205) will unfortunately be closed between 1st and 30th July. This will affect anyone travelling from the Grimsby/Caistor direction. We would therefore advise anyone travelling from this direction to stay on the A46 past Caistor and Nettleton and to turn off right at the Holton Le Moor turn off onto the B1434. Continue to follow the B1434 until you reach Moortown cross roads where you will turn left onto Kelsey Road.

Please note that we are not taking part in Open Farm Sunday on this day but there are other farms with similar names who aren’t usually open to the general public who are. There has been confusion over this in previous years and we don’t want anyone to get mixed up.

There’s lots of fun to be had at Hall farm Park this Easter school holiday. Take a tractor ride to feed the cows, bottle feed a lamb or even take a goat for a walk. Our indoor heated play barn provides fun no matter what the weather! We will also be holding an Easter egg hunt over the bank holiday weekend (Friday 19th – Monday 22nd April). We will be open 10 am – 5 pm during the Lincolnshire school holidays so be sure to join in the fun!
