October half term FAQ’s
Do I need to book in advance? We advise using this method to ensure entry to the park as we are restricted on numbers allowed on site. Pay at the door is permitted but if we are up to capacity then entry will not be allowed. Season ticket holders will also need to book but obviously no payment needed. To assist with social distancing staggered entry times have been created; you may arrive after your stated entry time if needed but not before hand. Please note that children under the age of 2 will not require a ticket.
Is the indoor play barn open? Yes however to ensure social distancing and to meet with government guidelines this will mean a reduced number of visitors being allowed into the barn at any one time. Visitors will be allocated session times dependent on their online booking time. Session times are as follows:
10am park arrival – play barn available 10.30-11.30
10.45am park arrival – play barn available 12.30-1.30
11.30am park arrival – play barn available 2.45-3.45
Is the tearoom open? Our tearoom is open to eat in or takeaway – if you wish to eat in you must book a table. This can be done on the day of visit or by calling 01652 678822 prior to your visit.
When is the pumpkin patch open? The pumpkin patch will be open between 11.30 – 12.30 and 2.15-3.00 from 24th October – 1st November 2020. Pumpkins can be purchased from the patch (card payments preferred please).
Will the tractor ride be running? Yes, but numbers allowed on the trailer will be considerably reduced to meet social distancing regulations. Therefore if you would like a tractor ride you must book it on arrival in the shop as places will be limited. Due to the new guidelines and enhanced cleaning there will be now be a £1 charge per person (babies on knees free). Please wash your hands before and after the tractor ride. Rides take approximately 20 minutes.
