Hall Farm Park offers the perfect educational but fun day out to compliment everyday classroom activities. The park is run by Andrew and Tracy Knapton. Tracy is a qualified primary school teacher and her husband, Andrew and son Thomas, have undertaken training from the Countryside Educational Visit Accreditation Scheme (CEVAS). They are ably assisted by family and staff.
There are plenty of hand washing and toilet facilities including disabled, which meet all of the latest hygiene regulations. For ease of access all main areas are linked by pathways, with signage and information boards. We have an indoor room where packed lunches can be eaten and bags etc can be left. If children would like to bring spending money we have a gift shop with prices starting from £1.00.
Tractor rides, goat walking and lamb feeding (seasonal) can all be included in your visit along with full use of all play facilities. The woodland walk is a great opportunity to see the farm and countryside whilst having great fun solving the nature quiz and looking for hidden animals.
At Hall Farm Park our aim is to provide an educational, fun day out whilst giving children an appreciation of the countryside and farming, which they will remember and take back to the classroom with them.
Please check out our health and safety and seasonal activities pages before your visit. A school’s pack and risk assessment is available on application or by download.
